During the course of this review, we came across cheap hexacopters but we chose not to include them because of their general low quality. Construction and Design

The range of the “aircraft” is vital because it can limit how far you can control your hexacopter. The range is product-specific and can vary from 100 yards to 330 yards for beginner hexacopters to over 3 miles for professional hexacopters with premium features

The flight time depends on the type and size of the hexacopter’s battery, and it usually varies between 5 and 30 minutes. For beginner hexacopters with flight times of around 5-10 minutes, it’s advisable to get a couple of extra batteries so you can swap easily and continue with the flight. For professional hexacopters, the extra battery could be quite expensive, so if you can’t buy an extra battery, monitor the power and know when to recharge.

For non-experienced flyers and beginners, it’s recommended you go for a hexacopter with the headless mode option. When activated, the headless mode solves the unwanted problem (crashes) which may arise when the hexacopter front and controller are in opposite directions.
